The short answer
Royal Blue is a family-run business in Bangkok, Thailand, working with luxury menswear fabrics for more than 30 years. We are the authorised distributor of Vitale Barberis Canonico in Thailand — with probably the largest VBC collection in Southeast Asia — as well as Piacenza, Cerruti, Albini, Thomas Mason, Spence Bryson, Subalpino, Stylbiella and Ariston Napoli.
If you’ve been reading our Journal, you’ve probably noticed that we talk a lot about fabric.
So perhaps it’s time we introduced ourselves.
We’re Royal Blue.
We’re a family-run business based in Bangkok, Thailand, and we’ve been working with luxury menswear fabrics for more than 30 years.
Our relationship with Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC) goes back more than three decades. We are the authorised distributor of VBC in Thailand, and today we have what is probably the largest VBC collection in Southeast Asia.
We are also authorised distributors for Piacenza, Cerruti, Albini, Thomas Mason, Spence Bryson, Subalpino, Stylbiella and Ariston Napoli.
That’s quite a few names, but there is a reason we’ve stayed focused on fabric for so long.
We like looking through new collections, feeling different qualities and learning about fabrics that make a really good suit, jacket, trouser or shirt.
After more than 30 years, we’ve also learnt that not every fabric that sounds impressive is necessarily the right fabric. You start to understand what works, what doesn’t, and what is worth recommending.
We’re still very hands-on. We know our fabrics, and we work closely with our customers.
